This outlines the various steps required to add or remove a carsharer from your business member account.
Carsharers: we require a record of your driving history for the last three years. How to acquire these documents depends on where you've been driving. Please read through this section of our FAQs for details.

Please read the Carsharing Handbook, and read and complete the Carsharer Agreement. Your Modo liaison at work can witness the agreement.
Administrators: a few steps to add a carsharer.
- Email business(at)modo.coop with the name of the carsharer(s) to be added.
- Witness the Carsharer Agreement (which the applicant needs to complete) and write down the driver's licence number and expiry in the space provided.
- Assign a fob to the applicant and write the fob number on the Carsharer Agreement. Scan and email the agreement to business(at)modo.coop.
- Have the applicant read the following two documents: Important Sheet for Business Members (which includes information on how to access cars and what to do when there are issues with cars), and the Carsharing Handbook to understand the rules of carsharing with Modo.
Carsharers: all you have to do is return your fob to your organization's Modo Liaison.
Administrators: please email business(at)modo.coop with the name of the carsharer to remove. Collect the fob from that person. Please note if the carsharer has an individual use account with us they should keep their fob.
