1. sign some forms.
As is the case with most business transactions, this process starts with the signing of forms.
- Business member agreement to be read and signed by the company signing officer.
- Business member insurance coverage protects you from the costs of unexpected damage to a car during your booking. To learn more about the different insurance options from Modo, read our insurance options for business members.
2. give us a call.
When all your forms are complete, give us a call to set up a visit at Modo. Or, if you have four or more employees signing up to carshare we can come to your office to give you the carsharing demo.
We will also pick up a payment for your deposit, which can be made by cheque or by authorizing the amount on the credit card authorization on the last page of the agreement.
3. set up your drivers.
Each employee you would like authorized to drive a Modo car must complete two steps. They must...
- Send us their Driving Record and Claims History so we can check if they are eligible. Have your employees call ICBC to have their documents emailed to the Modo office at info(at)modo.coop. It's free of charge. The number for ICBC is 604.661.2255, extension 2. If you're outside of Metro Vancouver, call 1.888.715.7775.
- Complete the Carsharer Agreement.
