Parking in the City of Vancouver
When you're carsharing in a Modo vehicle, our parking permit allows you to park in any permit-only or resident-only zone in the City of Vancouver*. Your rates cover the cost of Modo parking permits. Truly, a great benefit with carsharing!

Travel insurance from The Co-operators
As a Modo member, you're eligible to receive 15% savings on travel insurance through The Co-operators. Their travel insurance is designed to help you stay protected when your sense of adventure takes you to other parts of Canada and beyond. Roaming with other carsharing organizations
Modo has roaming agreements with a number of carsharing organization (CSOs) across North America and beyond, that allow Modo members to carshare in other cities when traveling.

Thrifty car rentals
Thrifty offers Modo members guaranteed fixed rates throughout the year. Local Thrifty agents will confirm your membership when you call or visit to rent. If you're renting outside of Metro Vancouver, call Modo for our corporate discount code. Please review North America rates and kilometer caps before renting. We recommend you compare costs using our trip cost calculator, which is based on Thrifty's rates.
Enterprise car rentals
Enterprise offers Modo members 5% off the lowest posted rate on their website. This discount is applied to every make of car available. Prices of vehicles change depending on season and pick-up location (e.g. downtown pricing is different from airport pricing). Our members get this 5% discount when they rent a car online from any location in North America. Call Modo for our account number and password.
Rental insurance
Modo can administer insurance for rental vehicles rented by Modo shareholders. This is the same coverage one can purchase through an Autoplan broker; weare not selling it but providing it to Modo members for an admin fee. YMCA of Greater Vancouver
Modo is a corporate member of the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. Co-op members are eligible for a 10% discount on the Adult membership at all Greater Vancouver YMCAs, or 10% disount on the Plus membership at the Robert Lee YMCA. Note that the Young Adult membership type is excluded from this deal.
YWCA Health + Fitness
Modo is a corporate member of the YWCA Health + Fitness centre located in downtown Vancouver. Co-op members are eligible to join at the best corporate rates.
Recreation Flexipass from the City of Vancouver
Co-op members can purchase a City of Vancouver Recreation Flexipass at a 25% discount through our corporate group rate. The Flexipass allows unlimited admission to a number of the city's fitness centres, indoor and outdoor pools, and ice rinks. Individual health plan from Pacific Blue Cross
Co-op members are eligible to sign up for extended health and dental benefits through Pacific Blue Cross, and receive a 10% rate discount through our group plan. View the rate sheet or download the application form.
