Nominations are now open and close on March 4, 2018
Modo’s Board of Directors consists of nine directors, with one from the Greater Victoria area and eight from the rest of Modo’s service area. Each position generally serves a three-year term of office. All shareholding members are eligible to run for election as a director, subject to their place of residence.
At Modo’s 2018 Annual General Meeting on April 18, 2018, there will be four non-Victoria positions up for election:
- Three positions with 3-year terms
- One position with a 2-year term
Our directors are volunteers. They are not paid or given preferential treatment for their time spent on board business.

How can I run for election?
If you’re a shareholding member interested in serving on the board, and can fulfill the requirements, we encourage you to put your name forward as a candidate. Prospective Director Meeting
Modo will hold an in-person meeting for prospective director candidates on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at 6pm at Modo’s Downtown Vancouver head office (Suite 200 – 470 Granville Street). Prospective candidates are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting to learn more about the opportunity to serve on Modo’s Board of Directors and to have your questions answered.
