Modo Ambassador: Yasmine Hardcastle

Yasmine Hardcastle is an Executive Assistant by profession, and spends her away-from-work time on her yoga mat, writing, and exploring her new hometown of Victoria. She is a firm believer that you don’t have to break the bank to live well, and shares her adventures of travel, yoga, food and beverage, and life on her blog. Yasmine was a late-to-bloom-driver, obtaining her N at the age of 30. Yasmine and her partner look forward to many more road trips and exploration of their new home!

How long have you been a Modo member for and what type of membership do you have?

Combined, I have been a Modo member for just over four years. I just rejoined and am a proud Premium member!

What made you want to join Modo?

Affordability, convenience, and the variety of cars. I also love that it’s a local company looking to make a difference. When I first joined Modo, it was also the only company accepting N drivers. (I didn’t get my license until I was 30!)

How do you use Modo and what’s your go to vehicle?

I recently rejoined Modo and will be running errands, exploring and road tripping. Not sure yet what my go-to vehicle is in Victoria, but I do like smaller, eco-friendly cars.

What was your most memorable Modo trip?

My most memorable trip was the first time I went to Costco with a Modo car. It was my first time grocery shopping without having to take transit, use my Rolser bag, or have to rely on someone else to drive me. It felt so good!!

In one word, what does Modo mean to you?

Independence
