My Tip of the Month: Use our new app to book on the go!
We released our first version of the Modo app just over a month ago! Our programming team has been working hard to make sure booking on the go is now easier than ever.
Here are a few tips to help you out when you’re looking for a car this holiday season!
Book right now – or a year ahead
Need to book a car right now? As soon as you open the app, vehicle results are shown starting from the next available half hour. If you like to plan ahead, you can change the start and end times to suit whatever trip you have in mind – you can even book up to a year in advance!
Select the perfect car for your trip
Whether you’re looking for a van to haul the kids to grandma’s or a car with all wheel drive and winter tires for that trip to Whistler, you can find exactly what you’re looking for by using the vehicle search page, simply click on the magnifying glass icon on the Book screen.
Need winter tires or roof racks?
Select specific vehicle classes or models with the ‘Vehicles’ tab, or narrow it down by features such as Bluetooth audio, roof racks or winter tires by selecting the ‘Features’ tab. After choosing your features, hit ‘Apply Filters’ to display all vehicles that match your selection.
Set a list of Favourites
Maybe you’ve already planned ahead by selecting one of these vehicles as a favourite – good thinking! To select a favourited vehicle, you can either look through the ‘Favourites’ tab on the Book screen, or open up the ‘Location Search’ page by clicking on the navigation arrow at the top right corner of the Book page. You can filter displayed vehicles by your favourite locations or any recent locations you may have used, or narrow down vehicle results by selecting a location’s pin on the map.
Keep an eye out for further updates to the app, including an account settings page, in the not-too-distant future. Happy holidays, and drive safe!
