#Letsmodo to the mountains!
Modo Ambassador Alicia of Go Live Explore shared her latest Modo adventure with us, featuring her favourite snow mobile, the Jeep Renegade.
Modo has 6 exclusive stalls at Mt Seymour: Members are welcome to use four stalls in the visitor parking area — first come, first serve! Plus, there are two additional back country parking spots at the top of lot P5.
Our Business members at Accio in Victoria book the Modo cargo van for their weekly Costco deliveries, in sunshine and snow. They call it the #ModoMonday!
(Special appearance by Luna, the office dog – who has her very own Twitter account @lunablueheeler.)
There are number of transit delays so, if you’re driving today, please take extra care on the snowy roads! Don’t forget, we have a number of vehicles equipped with snow tires—read our blog for details. https://t.co/whwObUM42h
As we celebrate 20 years of growing the carsharing movement, we’re also looking forward to what the next 20 years will bring Modo. Watch our video and tell us where you see us going! http://ow.ly/xMCE308D83C
Thank you for joining us at our Modo AGM 2017 last night and helping us celebrate 20 years in business!
We had a fantastic night and want to thank our guests Monika Prohl and Doug Smith of City of Vancouver – Local Government and the “very first member to ever make a Modo booking”, Linda, for sharing their Modo stories.
We’re excited to launch a new location in Victoria today!
Car #866, a brand new Honda Fit, will be available for bookings at the Haultain & Shelbourne location (designated on-street stall) as of 5pm today. Thanks to our member Jon for bringing the car over from Vancouver last weekend!
The fine folks at Artslandia Vancouver use Modo for business and pleasure – like visiting our friends at Belfry Theatre or delivering magazines in a Modo.
“We’re able to book the perfect car for what our daily grind requires…the smaller city car for easy parking, and the bigger SUV’s for longer, bigger cargo commutes. We also love the more posh rides for night’s out at the Orpheum.”
Modo Ambassador Adrian of 5 Kids 1 Condo shared this picture of his Modo trip to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver with us on Twitter yesterday. A good reminder to sort through that pile of abandoned winter clothing. Own less, share more!
Thanks for the inspiration, Adrian.
