Summer Soccer Tournament in Vancouver & what Modo Members Need to Know

In Summer 2026, a big soccer tournament is coming to Vancouver - mid June to Mid July - with seven matches hosted at BC Place. The city is expecting more than 350,000 visitors from around the world. As exciting as this is, increased traffic and road closures are expected, especially in and around downtown Vancouver and False Creek.

How This Affects Modo:

1) Vehicle Location Changes

Vehicles currently located in the areas affected by closures will be temporarily moved to three main hubs:

Lot 15 - Olympic Village SkyTrain
Lot 12 - Moberly
Lot 59 - Spyglass @ EasyPark
‍
with some of them spread around Kits, UBC, Mount Pleasant, and Burnaby area.
‍
‍These will serve as temporary home locations from mid June to mid July 2026.

2) Seat Sale

From June 10th to July 10th, save 15% on selected cars in our temporary home locations at Olympic Village SkyTrain, Moberly & Spyglass @ EasyPark. ‍Make sure to book using your Modo app.
